Picture the eight women you love the most. Now imagine that one of those eight women has Breast Cancer. Those are the terrifying odds…one in eight women in America will develop Breast Cancer sometime in their life.

When we picture our eight loved ones Pam and I see our mother who died of Breast Cancer in 1995. Sonya see's her Mother-in-law, we also see two of our Aunts who developed Breast Cancer and survived. We also see each other and we are determined to do all that we can to help find a cure before the three of us are added to this list.

Here’s what we are doing and how you can help. This October Pam, Sandy and Sonya are walking 60 miles in three days as part of the Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day event. Like all walk-a-thons, the purpose of this is to raise money to be used to help fight Breast Cancer. We need your help.

We have to raise at least $2000.00 each before we can make this walk from Lake Lanier, Georgia to downtown Atlanta in memory of Mom and honor of our Aunts and Mother-in-law. We hope you can contribute towards this goal. The proceeds of this fund-raiser go towards research, and to help women with undetected Breast Cancer find out early enough to survive. Too often low-income women can’t afford to find out until it is too late. We can help save those lives. All donations are 100% tax-deductible. We will be the one doing the walking but you will know that somewhere there is a woman alive that you helped to save.
